James Jackson
GENERAL MANAGER & SAFEGUARD LEAD
James joined Trinity Fields as General Manager in 2022. He has been working within sports and recreation for over a decade with roles that have included training, coaching, facilities and charity management, and operations.He is passionate about sports development for children, and engaging with the local community in support of the Trust's charitable aims. James has a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science. He is the Trust's Designated Safeguard Lead.

Terry Jacobs
GROUNDSPERSON
Terry is vastly experienced and knowledgeable within ground maintenance, with over 35 years experience.
Specialising in football and cricket pitches, he has great passion for delivering the best wicket and still plays cricket in his spare time. -

Martin Himes
BOOKINGS MANAGER
Martin is a local parent who discovered Trinity Fields when his children joined Sinjun Grammarians Colts in 2013.
Later joining Trinity Fields Trust as a part-time bookings manager in 2017 where he continues his contribution to the charity to this day, priding himself on offering a positive and informative customer experience to our users and partners.

Neil Allcock
Neil joined the Trust in 2020 after retiring from a 25-year career at Deloitte. He brings extensive experience to the board and works closely with the General Manager on operational matters.
He is also a keen (some might say obsessive) Chelsea supporter, but we try not to hold that against him.

Jennifer Athill
Jennifer became a Trustee in 2025, having been involved with the Fields for many years as a parent supporter of teams her sons played in.
A former director of local grassroots club Broomwood FC who now manages the open-age men’s team, AFC Broomwood, Jenn is a passionate advocate for the benefits of team sport and positive support from the sidelines.

Ben Freeman
Ben is the Headmaster of Finton House School in south west London and joined the Trust in 2021 as Finton’s representative and a key partner at Trinity Fields.
He works closely with the Trust and his staff at Finton to help ensure the facilities are available to the whole community.

Rachel Farrow-Smith
Rachel has lived in Balham for 20 years and became a Trustee of Trinity Fields in 2024, bringing with her extensive experience from a former career as a corporate and financial litigation lawyer.
An FA-qualified football coach who founded girls’ teams and development squads, Rachel has seen first-hand the transformative impact of sport on young people and is passionate about ensuring as many local children as possible can access high-quality facilities at Trinity Fields.

Rosie Halfhead
Rosie joined the Trust as Chair in June 2025, bringing an extensive corporate and consulting background alongside significant experience in governance, leadership, and board effectiveness through her non-executive roles.
A former Wiltshire hockey player and local resident, she is committed to ensuring the Trust provides safe, well-maintained playing fields so it can continue to encourage young people in the community to be healthy and active.

Yvonne Johnson
Yvonne has been a Trustee since 2023 and supports the Trust on accounting and financial reporting.
She brings many years of experience as a finance director and charity trustee, along with a long-standing connection to Trinity Fields through friends and family who use the fields for school sports.

James Peggie
James has been a Trustee since 2020 and supports the Trust on governance and legal matters.
He has a long-standing connection to the fields, regularly playing cricket here in the summer and playing a key role in local grassroots football.

Mark Peters
Mark joined the Trust in 2017 and is currently the Deputy Head at Hornsby House, one of our key school partners.
He has been instrumental in ensuring the fields meet the Trust’s charitable objectives and is often spotted there with a whistle, refereeing the many tournaments and festivals we run for local schools.
We are committed to the highest standards of safety and governance. Key operational policies, including safeguarding, are in place and regularly reviewed.
